The ten year old and I went for a walk today and on the way we saw these beautiful yellow flowers. 

Me: Aw! They are so pretty.
Him: *bends down, snaps one from the stalk, and hands me one*

Be still my heart. That was so adorable. 

Then he picked colorful wildflowers along the way to the house to give to Grammy. 

This kid is the best.
