Jokes aside ~ the  piece above is part of a “massive art exhibition that brings together a failing pawnshop, live-streamed wars, NFTs and a room for sex work in a historic palazzo” from Swiss-Icelandic provocateur Christoph Büchel.

 “Monte di Pietà” is a deep dive into the notion of debt as the root of human society and the primary vehicle by which political and cultural power is exercised.

This is brilliant. I absolutely love it. I found a picture of the “VIP” room online too. Reports state this exhibition has divided Venice.🧑‍🎨🇮🇹❤️
