 Would we just hide it? People can still send it. Users would just never see it. I am not sure if it makes sense. 

 Yes, hiding the option to send along with all DM notifications (if someone never wants to use nostr DMs).

I'm not sure if this is a good idea either, and maybe just gradually moving to better DMs is better.
