Was in the stand for only about 3 minutes when he trotted in (got in late, around 1745). 

Bucks are already in rut so he was bookin it right towards me.

Made a click to stop him & shot him, chest facing me. 

Shot to the heart, but no blood. 

Went and got our goofy red bone hound, who’s normally just a good outdoor dog & he led us right to it!
