I changed the viewing experience on Nostr. I condensed my follow list to under a hundred. This list is people I work with, have had multiple conversations with, or businesses/creatives I want to stay up to date with. Then I started using the global feed for the first time since almost a year ago. It's much better than have parasocial relationships. I think this is healthier. I think we need to create this kind of separation, and make it a focus, because if people interact, they start bonding, but everyone has this one sided mentality, I'm the entertainer and you are my audience. This is why things get weird. Humans are designed to connect, and social media platforms have fostered unhealthy relationships. I will not "follow" you unless we have established a IRL connection. Maybe this is what this should be called: IRL Friends. Then have lists for famous people or people that think they are famous. Just a thought. It makes me happy now to see my personal timeline of people I know. (Side note: I still have to condense it or if I don't follow them here, it's because we chat in another way)
I really think saying to people, follow all the accounts to make your experience great is complete BS. It manufactured fake friends. We don't want that here. We want healthy social media experiences.
Anyways, thats my two cents.
