Even on the hosted version (zPay.live), invoices are still generated directly from the creator's wallet. There is no intermediary involved in the transactions.

Even if I wanted to take a commission, I couldn't, this was the exact intention.

Cherry On Top: Self-hosting zpay.live is entirely free.

It's so lightweight, you wouldn't even need a full server. You could deploy it on a serverless lambda function on AWS, Azure, or any other platform.

Even with 10k-20k users on your self-hosted version, you'd never break their free limits.

I also rewrote the zPay.live backend in Go. It's not only 40% faster and 70% less compute-intensive but also highly scalable.

Even with 10s of 1000s of users on your self-hosted version, you wouldn't break the AWS Lambda free limit, which is unimaginable with Lnbits or BTCPay servers.

That's pretty friggin rad. I'm not sure I could ever use this, but... The fact that you are doing it this way is remarkable!
I will also probably never use this service myself, but I want it to exist as a viable option for people who need it.
