 Over the course of my travels I've experienced a handful of aborted plane landings due to weather, which were slightly scary.

But now I can attest that aborted takeoffs are ten times scarier!

 ..not to mention all the planes that are turning back after flying 4 hours over an ocean due to "technical issues".

 Happened to me on a Malaysian airlines plane going to Borneo. Given their history... it was a bit tense
