The downside of lots of rain. Landslides have been devastating for Sitka in the past.

The rain has been steady for almost 24 hours. A friend of mine posted we've had 5" from last night through today.

5" is a lot at one time and it's still raining with much more to come. I love it so much, but also hope everyone stays safe.
