Half of companies see China economy worsening this year: Japan chamber

Half of Japanese companies operating in China predict the Chinese economy will worsen this year, according to the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In a survey, 50% of member companies said they expect economic conditions to be worse or somewhat worse in 2024 compared to last year, up from 39% in January.
