Yes. What surprised me in my beta reader feedback is men were absolutely fine with the lead character being vocal about her endometriosis, but the women questioned if I should remove it altogether to make it inclusive.

I always add menstruating in my stories because they are uncomfortable, often painful and inconvenient. The menstrual cycle is not a quick, random body function, it’s a fortnight a month of feeling like crap. nostr.fmt.wiz.biz
