I think the nostr people encourage better behavior.  If you have high expectations, you get better behavior.  

Rage baiters are either ignored or made fun of, so they stop or leave.  Those who honestly debate get engagement, so it encourages honest, respectful discussions.  If someone normally engages respectfully, but is having a bad day, we take previous behavior into account and are forgiving.
