Because just like with fiat, They want to have it and don't want us to have it. So they remain in control. 

Bitcoins limited supply and them having unlimited dollars... generally isn't good for anyone that doesn't have bitcoin yet... so most people..

When rich people say not to do something, do it.
When rich people say to do something, ignore them.

They arnt your friend are they? So chances are they arnt out to help you. They are out to keep themselves rich.
