What other side of people do you think you see on nostr vs on X?
More variety of topics of discussion. Overall it’s just nicer, or maybe more human is a better way to put it. People are people so we all have our “less honorable” moments 😂, our disagreements, etc. But by and large I see less rage baiting, and more genuine sharing/debating/challenging of ideas and opinions.
I have found that it’s less people speaking to an “audience” and more people speaking to people. Big difference.
Definitely. Good way to put it.
I think the nostr people encourage better behavior. If you have high expectations, you get better behavior. Rage baiters are either ignored or made fun of, so they stop or leave. Those who honestly debate get engagement, so it encourages honest, respectful discussions. If someone normally engages respectfully, but is having a bad day, we take previous behavior into account and are forgiving.
