Nostr (Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays) is a decentralized communication protocol designed to avoid censorship and centralized control. It works with cryptographic keys: users have a private key to sign messages and a public key to receive them. Messages are shared through relays (servers) that transmit the information without controlling it.
