It’s fascinating watching prisoners dilemma play out on a grand scale with most of those “playing the game” completely unaware that even if they “win” …..they lose.  

While others play a new game where they, and all of society wins. 

The path to a new Nash equilibrium based on cooperation is going to be both chaotic and interesting.
