The greeter at our little local grocery store was wearing a button up and khakis today. I said to him, “Well aren’t you looking especially handsome this morning Mr Shimizu.” Oh my gosh, he got the biggest smile on his face and as I was leaving he said, “You don’t know how much that made my day young lady.” 🥹
One of my favorite things to do is pay people unexpected, but sincere compliments. Their reactions are often unexpected and priceless. I encourage you to try it.

Yes it is a great thing to be a recipient of such sincerity. Just the other day an older lady rubbed my back and sincerely thanked me for helping her understand her internet issue so that she could deal with it and not be rolled. Kind of expected but sooo rare!
