The lyrics has a nod to Knutsen & Ludvigsen,  
a Norwegian band with anarchic leanings, and who created absurd entertainment for children and adults. 

The band consisted of Øystein Dolmen ("Knutsen") and Gustav Lorentzen ("Ludvigsen"). They song about the two fantasy figures Knutsen and Ludvigsen, two "little guys who live in a tunnel," and their bizarre ideas.
