No. It's my faith. All that kind of stuff is prohibited, but not "just because."

It's dangerous and opens you and your home and your family up to very, very bad things, even if it seems innocuous. I just happen to know more about the occult than most because it's morbidly fascinating and, quite frankly, one needs to know WTF their enemies are doing and using in order to defend against them.

I got into a pretty hardcore fight with my ex about her wanting to bring an uoiji (my goodness, I can't friggin spell) into our home. I straight up forbid it.
Ahh, I see. I like your strength and the principled approach. How did your ex feel about it?

I don't have any experience in such things other than a friend tell me that she will never touch that one in particular because of an experience she had. She said a spirit followed her and she couldn't get rid of it for several months.

The same friend also read Tarot cards for me for the first time ever, and to my surprise she spoke of several concepts that had been overwhelming my thoughts at the time.

So I would normally just roll my eyes and say it's just silly, but there does seem to be more to it.

So I heed your warning.
I couldn't articulate my position well at the time. So, she was frustrated with me basically just saying "no. Never. Or else."

Your friend didn't get rid of it. Just because it currently doesn't bother her, doesn't mean that the influence is gone.

*sighs* I feel a really long explaination coming on and I'm too tired for that right now.
Ouija boards are nothing but trouble
Well, I think ALL of that kind of thing is trouble. Don't invite things you don't know into your home and your life.
You gotta dump em when they get a ouija board
I was married at the time... But eventually, yes.
I’m cool with most things but I’m too Midwestern for that ouija board

That’s a Kansas hard pass
I've never heard that before, but, that's fun.
People in Kansas don’t play that
 Too sensible.
