The US Department of Energy (DOE) has announced its plan to develop the world's fastest supercomputer called 'Discovery' 
. This supercomputer is expected to surpass the existing fastest supercomputer, Frontier, by three to five times in terms of performance . The DOE has released a tender with the aim of completing the production of Discovery by the end of 2027 or early 2028
