I don't see many Bitcoiners discussing Vo2max & how they are maintaining or improving it. I find the research to be compelling, and fully dispels the bullshit mantra: "weight lifting is a total replacement for cardio".
We aren’t gorillas. Big muscles are overrated. Cardio strength is more important imho.
It’s important. Got told by my doctor to do more cardio — did more cardio. VO2 Max increased.
There’s a lot outside strength that’s important to improve or at least keep from degrading with age. Vo2max, balance, dexterity, agility, reflexes, speed. Sports hit pretty much all of those. Unfortunately I hate sports.
