well, strictly speaking, not tin foil, it's actually fine copper wire mesh with nickel plate

most people don't even realise that the point of tinfoil is not radio waves but ionising radiation like X and Gamma and you need actual foil for that to work, tin metal is second only to lead and superior for its density (much lighter) for its ionising radiation blocking ability

note that aside from that, also, any faraday cage that is not attached to a the positive pole of a decently capacious capacitor does not actually prevent absorption of this radiation if it should get under the surface, in fact a faraday cage amplifies the radiation on the inside

so, this is a novelty item, of little use and especially not for actually blocking radio waves that are emitted below the level of the cavity inside it

to actually work, it would need to come with an expensive supercapacitor and you'd also probably want some way to periodically discharge the capacitor safely because it WILL charge up and eventually have enough in it that it could give you quite a jolt
