I have a vaguely specific memory attached to this song. I’m about 5 years old, I’m in the backseat of a tan Cadillac Brougham, my father is picking me up from kindergarten. It’s a sunny day, not too warm, probably autumn, and this song is playing. I turn 30 in 2 weeks and every time I hear this song it takes me back to being in the backseat of that Cadillac.
