if btc adoption grows, nostr will grow
if authoritarianism grows, both will grow
if money printing ensues, btc adoption will grow
if btc grows, nostr adoption will grow

i'm not a betting man but... 

 Even If they don't grow in adoption, the products and services around them will still be 100x better than Bank of America and Facebook.
