I live with a high risk person in a red state that defied mask mandates. We've avoided infection by never leaving the house. It's exhausting. I want this taken seriously. I want people to know it isn't over.
I do not trust my neighbors to be honest about symptoms or to bother with home tests.
I'm angry about it and the government has done a terrible job assuaging our fears.
