I think they went more for the experience and because the tickets were free. My nephew is only barely old enough to vote now, and I'm not sure what his political views are.
I doubt I would have gone, personally, though I'm ashamed to say I did go see George W. Bush once while he was in office at a rally in Phoenix. I was still a 'publican then...🥸
