im not sure they need to be put together ... its just the way my head works being oriented in certain directions...

but yeah the pentagram is used in magick rituals... to the pagans its more of a symbol of "earth" - just thinking aloud here perhaps thats why its used in magick - to "ground" the intention or spell...
