Ex-NASA Scientist Lisa Kaltenegger's Explores Extraterrestrial Life In Her New Book, Alien Earths ========== Astrophysicist Lisa Kaltenegger, a former NASA scientist, has written a book called Alien Earths where she suggests the possibility of alien life on exoplanets. She mentions that there are over 5000 exoplanets discovered so far, with around 70 potentially suitable for life. However, these planets are incredibly far away, making it difficult to spot aliens. The Planetary Habitability Laboratory at the University of Puerto Rico identifies 29 exoplanets similar to Earth where life could exist. One potential place for aliens is Proxima Centauri, just 4.25 light years away, where the sun never sets or rises. Another candidate exoplanet is CoRoT-7 b, located 489 light years away, which is constantly dripping hot lava. There is also a chance for life around the orange dwarf star Kepler-62, approximately 980 light years away from our solar system. #Nasa #LisaKaltenegger #AlienEarths #Exoplanets #Astrobiology https://www.news18.com/viral/ex-nasa-scientist-lisa-kalteneggers-explores-extraterrestrial-life-in-her-new-book-alien-earths-8884987.html
