Some Bitcoiners are so blinded by their hatred of altcoins that they recommend "pure" KYC services over "impure" non-KYC services. 🤡
Which impure non Kyc services do you mean?
He means his casa, the company he works for, which provides eth services as well
Now I understand. Jameson promoted casa as bitcoin only company and moved to altcoins(shitcoins), a lot of bitcoin people lost trust and will promote companies who didn't betray their early clients like Nunchuk and unchained capital.
 We need more info. :)
I stick to ideas rather than finger pointing.
 Kyc Bitcoin is a shitcoin
You are a Bitcoiner, selling yourself out for ETH shekels.

You’ll find no sympathy here mate.

There is no respect in what you’re doing at Casa.

You claim to be an Ancap which inherently means rejecting customers you don’t want but then you went and built a whole service arm for the mETHeads.

Casa cannot possibly focus on BTC as well as competitors when your company is dedicating resources to mETH.

I’m signing up for Nunchuk after your company account told me to compare - I did and I found Casa benefits shitcoinery whilst Nunchuk wants to just support BTC.
Imagine having .eths as customers 🤮
Please let them use and buy shittons of ETH, I still have some to dump once price is up again above 0.07 BTC.
They only knock on Nunchuk is their desktop app which kinda sucks, but you can manage your nunchuk multisig with Sparrow. Best inheritance option imo if you want no KYC
What about just giving me a few BTC. Would save me a whole heap of time and effort, super convenient.
Best I can do is testnet BTC.
I hear they are getting pretty valuable these days.
I'm working on that particular problem. 😇
Should I sell all my testnet coins before the rug is pulled?
I heard you discuss it on the Optech podcast.
 🤷‍♂️

Testnet3 will continue to exist for a while, possibly for years if folks continue operating nodes and miners.
"Pure Bitcoin" reminds me of "gold star gay".

what would you recommend to someone who was late to the non-KYC game and has 75% of their overall stack in KYC?

…asking for a fren
Sell it all on KYC exchange, then re-buy non-KYC?
I wonder how reasonable this is for a non-insignificant amount of sats, i.e. realizing capital gains tax, fees + spread on non-KYC avenues, lack of ability to dump large sums of fiat in non-KYC avenues…

No-KYC typically has daily limits, but then that’s what P2P exists for…if there’s demand…

Hard to commit.
Keep the stacks separate from each other if you haven't already. Stack non kyc from now on with Robosats/Bisq/Agoradesk
This is probably very unpopular these days, but I agree 100% on that.

Crypto shitcoins are still better than regulators and fiat shitcoins, at least because they incidentally contribute to individuals' temporary financial freedom in the form of financial arbitrage over regulation.
Eventually shitcoiners tend to find out #Bitcoin signal, even if burried under tons of shitcoin-ery.

Regulators try to stop and shut up #Bitcoin signal, thus I consider them worst.

 Only the 13%, right?
 Probably far fewer than that.
No, we recommend pure bitcoin-only non-KYC services such as Nunchuk ;)

Still curious why you chose to offer custody solutions for eth after years of being bitcoin-only?

You were one of the bitcoin OGs I learned from, and it was really confusing to suddenly see your company add eth services.

I’m sure you’ve answered this before so feel free to point me to where you’ve written about it, thanks.
Plenty of reasons but top ones:

1. The multisig tech matured to the point we were confident building on it.

2. Consistent increased demand from current and potential clients.

3. Massive growth in stablecoin ecosystem.
I have a feeling this will age well.

Everybody be sleeping on my boy Hugo over at nunchuk

Best of both worlds
Pls shill me. Where should I get to know him? Podcast, X profile?
Best bet is probably their website and their slack, he is pretty responsive there. I don’t think he has done many podcasts and I don’t use X so not sure how active he is there.

I love what they have to offer. The desktop app is subpar, but you can manage the multisig wallets with Sparrow and use the mobile app whenever you need to use the platform key. They just released a new product for families/groups that looks awesome
 Thanks 🤜🏼🤛🏼
