it's like anything else, if it gets big organically, it gets taken over, and if it comes out of nowhere, it's already theirs. they'll do everything they can to either co-opt it, or shut it down, but this is a hell of a lot more resilient 

I knew the blockchain could be used for more than BTC, but I'm not greatly versed in it other than some basics so I never expected a social media to spawn from it. it makes sense though, TOR sprung up too
