that pine cone wicked up all the grease boiling off it and made it burn pretty hard... putting it to one side... got me some good char, anyhow, and rearranged the fire to not char it so much on the other side

i need to get one of those stands that let you hang them and use your fork and knife to slide them off and eat them one by one

this is really quite rare, even though on the surface it is charred af

i like rare beef, and i like charred beef, this is so tasty i can't even 
 so, guess what

it was twice as much as i feel able to eat

so, whatever, bag it up, in the fridge, fry it in some dripping tomorrow and that's my next day sorted too
