I was thinking of getting into MMOs again, but it's been nearly a decade since the last time I played. I've only played RuneScape, Fiesta Online, and Vindictus, but I sunk a lot of hours into each while procrastinating on school assignments.

Any MMO recommendations? #asknostr #gamestr
Supreme commander series is good, command and conquer (red alert 3, kanes wrath), planetary annihilation are the ones I’ve played
Those are not MMOs, my friend
 Sorry it’s been a long day 😭

Planetside 2 is still pretty great
Star citizen (once server meshing works lmaooo)
 My recommendation is different:

Don't. Spend your time on things that bring value instead of using your precious time "playing" a game.

But hey, if you take care of everything else and it's not going to impede your goals, sure. Rock on.
Final fantasy probably a good shout
Imagine using that time instead to create value.

Knowledge, wealth, experience, whatever you are most drawn to.

Now imagine what value that will add to your life in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, 30 years.

Now imagine a life without that value.

Most people don’t even think about this.

Those that do change the world.

Those that don’t live in the world you choose to create.
Runescape is probably the only MMO I've played but I still thoroughly enjoy it!
Final Fantasy XIV is a great option, and it doesn't require a huge time commitment unless you want to take on the Ultimate content, which is limited to just a few bosses per year. The game also has one of the best stories in the Final Fantasy franchise, and you don't need to be a fan of FF to appreciate it. Aside from FFXIV, World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XI are also solid choices. I heard about New World, but the players of that game seem to hate it more than anything else.
What do you think about TES online ?
I've never played, but if I go by what they told me, it seems like the opposite of FFXIV, which is more open to non-FF fans. It seems geared towards people who really enjoy The Elder Scrolls, Skyrim, more specifically. It seems more casual, too.

I also forgot about Guild Wars 2, that game is really fun and has a do anything you want approach. Wakfu is also a decent strategy MMO, but it has a mobile game feeling to it.
If I get into MMO I'll start with either TES online (I like TES series) or FFXIV.
The sad thing is that these modern MMOs don't seem to have a pirate server, sometimes it's fun to just break the game lol
