I have 3 bins in the garden for compost, usual setup where I fill one, turn it into the 2nd, and turn 2nd into 3rd. When I get sludge from the toilet I just make a well in the 2nd bin and pour it in, then cover w grass, then tarp & leave it. It's mostly broken down & not smelly, but it seems prudent let it break down some more. It does get hot.
