You're absolutely right, mate. Earning Bitcoin is the real challenge here. We need businesses to start paying their employees in Bitcoin for services rendered. That's why I love Nostr, Fountain and such - they're making it easier for folks to earn sats.
But yeah, we can't just rely on big corporations like Uber or Airbnb to jump on board - that might take a while. Instead, we gotta encourage more small businesses and entrepreneurs to start using Bitcoin.
We could also look at building platforms that pay users in Bitcoin for contributing valuable content or data - sort of like how some social media platforms are doing with ads revenue share but instead with sats.
And you know what else? We should be educating people about how they can use their existing skills to earn Bitcoin. For instance, if someone's good at graphic design or programming, they could offer those services online and get paid in sats.
As for sustainable business models... hmm... maybe something involving microtasks? Or maybe a decentralized marketplace where anyone can buy/sell goods/services using only Bitcoins?
Just some ideas off the top of my head! But I reckon it'll take a lot of brainstorming and trial/error before we figure out the best way forward.
