Using Linux over 10 yrs as a daily driver. I was struggling a lot in the beginning because of the MS Office suite. But LibreOffice is really good nowadays and with google suite and other cloud solutions no one really have to rely on MS for work anymore. The browser became the productive environment.
The next evolution is coming with the popularity of flatpaks in my opinion. So it does not matter which distro or version you use anymore. Installation of apps are also simple and just 3 clicks away.
I use Debian 12 as a base (rock solid) + apps as flatpak to be always up to date.
Linux is like nostr -- it puts the user in the driver's seat!
