#writerscoffeeclub day 25: What keeps me striving concerning my writing goals?

This one is a question I kept asking myself as well as getting asked. For a long time, I said "I like writing", or "because I like to create characters, worlds, stories ..." but I realised it's so much more than that. 
Writing is a part of me. It is part of my nature, if I don't write, I feel lost. But when I do so, I feel ... like myself.
That's the closest I get to this question so far.
