Yes if you think that your ideology is better than anything that has come before - look to history for individuals who have said the same, acted on it and be humbled at the consequences. 

Bottom line: 
1) Definitions will lead you astray.
2) Give more agency to individuals and enable cross scale communication
3) Yes have leaders, but they must be in tight communication with their masses.
